Why Does CBD Need Be Infused with Fat or Oil?
Since there are a number of reported CBD benefits and its popularity is soaring, you might decide to use a method that’s different from simply dissolving drops under your tongue.
However, you need to ensure you do it in a way that ensures the best possible CBD bioavailability and effectiveness, otherwise you might end up wasting your CBD oil.
Heating CBD a little can increase its effectiveness, but heating it too much – such as when baking or cooking with CBD oil – can ruin it.
As a result, you need to bind your CBD oil with fat to protect it from extreme heat.
Since the human body is designed to be able to digest fats efficiently, and CBD binds well with fats, this is typically the perfect way to achieve that.
Coconut oil and butter also have low smoke points and are easy to burn, which is why they are ideal for combining with CBD oil.
