[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text text_larger=”no”]If you’re looking to cook with CBD oil, the first thing you need to do is infuse CBD into some form of fat.
Ingredients based on oil or fat are the best carriers for CBD, and this also makes it super easy to add the ideal amount of CBD to almost any recipe without fundamentally changing the taste.
The most popular ways to achieve this are to make CBD butter or CBD coconut oil.
Today we’ll be taking you through some tips on how to make high CBD butter as well as point out some useful CBD butter uses so that you can get really creative in the kitchen.
Let’s start with the basics:
Why Must CBD Be Infused with Fat or Oil?Since CBD has been linked to such a wide range of health benefits, if you decide to take in a method that’s different from simply dissolving drops under your tongue as recommended, you need to ensure you do it in a way that ensures the best possible bioavailability and effectiveness, otherwise you might just be wasting your CBD oil.
Since the human body is designed to be able to digest fats efficiently, and CBD binds well with fats, this is typically the perfect way to achieve that.
It’s also true that slightly heating up CBD can increase its effectiveness, while heating it up too much can ruin it. Coconut oil and butter also have low smoke points and are easy to burn, which is another reason they are ideal for combining with CBD oil.
